WARRANTY POLICY

Jewelry should last forever. And we aim to help make sure it does. Our warranty policy got your back! And post warranty, we continue to offer after-sales care services for you.

How much is it?

Most of our after-care services are free of charge within the warranty period. After your warranty period has passed, we will send you a bespoke quote depending on the service you require. However, our repair fees are minimal as we really want you to keep your pieces forever. Get in touch and let’s get that piece back as new!

 

How long will it take?

The time it takes to perform each service varies, depending on the task at hand. We will give you an estimated date of return on booking the service.

Warranty

Our warranty policy got your back! We offer:

  • Sterling Silver pieces - 1 year warranty from the date of purchase.

  • Solid Gold pieces – 5 year warranty from date of purchase.

Important to note:

  1. Our warranty does not cover lost items, damages due to improper use or storage of your product, and any modification to your product done by a third party.

  2. We do not recommend having our products worked on by third party goldsmiths or jewelers as this voids our warranty. This includes resizing or any type of repair work. If your Kollectivet piece is defective and still covered under our warranty, please send your order number and a photo of the defective piece to gayara@kollectivet.com.

Defective Repairs

All our brand partners work closely with their artisans to hand make each of the jewelry pieces listed on our website. But faults can happen. If you notice any damage or manufacturing defect, you should contact us immediately (within 7 days of receipt) so we can help fix it.​​

 

After expert inspection, should we deem the fault to be due to negligence or improper use, the piece will fall outside of our warranty policy. However, we will offer to repair your piece for a minimum quoted fee.

  • Within warranty (must notify within 7 days), all jewelry - free

  • Outside warranty (or past 7 days notice period), all jewelry - quoted fee

Standard Repairs

Jewelry is delicate, and accidents can happen. If your piece is missing a gemstone* or has suffered scratches, our experts will evaluate and propose a solution.

Within warranty, free of charge*

  • Solid gold pieces - Unlimited within 5 years of purchase

  • Sterling Silver pieces - Unlimited within 1 year of purchase

 

Outside warranty, all jewelry - Upon expert evaluation will provide a quoted fee.

*For missing gemstones, it will differ by case and type of gemstone. We will get back to you if there will be an additional charge on replacing a missing gemstone after evaluating your piece.

Gold Replating

Gold plated jewelry last for many years when well taken care of, however do tarnish over time. We offer one free replating within the first year of purchase. After the first year, we offer replating for a minimum quoted fee.

  • Solid gold pieces - Not applicable

  • Sterling silver pieces - Once within 1 year since date of purchase.

  • Sterling silver pieces - Post 1 year, for a quoted fee.

Resizing

We can help you resize any of our rings to fit you better!
The below applies for gold jewelry only.

  • Once for free within 30 days of purchase.

  • After 30 days, for a minimum quoted fee.
