Ruwini Jayarathne
An accredited gemmologist and an avid jewelry designer, Ruwini Jayarathne creates one-of-a-kind pieces using beautifully unique, and carefully handpicked gemstones. CEYLON ARTISANS
Mustafa Abid
Mustafa has always had a keen interest in jewelry and fashion. In 2019, after having worked in the industry for years, Mustafa started his own luxury jewelry company in Sri Lanka, Ceylon Artisans - a luxury brand that sells high-end jewelry and accessories. Understanding the need in the market for budget-friendly and more affordable quality jewelry with gemstones, Mustafa also started Silwear - a subsidiary brand that specializes in 925 silver jewelry.
Mustafa designs his pieces and sources all his materials from Sri Lanka. Started out as an one-man army, with no funds and doing all the work himself, Mustafa has come a long way. Today, the company has a team of eleven and employs skilled artisans to handcraft each piece of jewelry. His goal remains to build a luxury jewelry brand, where customers get the best quality jewelry, at the most affordable price.

AIYAANA
Nisha Ramnani
Nisha draws her inspiration from her travels and multicultural upbringing. Born to Indian parents, Nisha was born and raised in Spain. Her connect to Sri Lanka was after meeting her husband, Sunil. Nisha’s creativity and jewelry designs reflect her Eurasian background, and she uses Sri Lanka’s abundance of extraordinary precious and semi-precious gemstones in her pieces. Each stone’s cut and colour inspire her inventiveness. Her work is akin to solving a puzzle, where she sits down with a variety of gemstones and combine them to produce exclusive pieces of handmade jewellery.

Every piece of Aiyaana jewelry is handmade by local craftsmen and jewel smiths, giving great attention to delicate details. Her hope is that the owners of her treasured jewels, will enjoy wearing her pieces as much as she enjoyed making them.
